Langzame koolhydraten<\/h3>\n

Langzame koolhydraten vertragen de opname van suiker (glucose) en zorgen voor een stabiele bloedsuikerspiegel. Een constante bloedsuikerspiegel geeft een lekker fit gevoel. Voedingsmiddelen met langzame koolhydraten zijn bijvoorbeeld havermout, de meeste groente, fruit, peulvruchten en alles van volkorenmeel. Deze voeding bevat vaak ook veel voedingsvezels en dat is nog eens extra gezond. Vezels verminderen de bloedsuikerpieken en geven snel en lang een verzadigd gevoel.
